Thanks for pointing that out!! Exactly true!
There is a reason Christ warned us against this world we live in; though there is certainly good in it, because in ourselves as Christians Christ lives in us, Satan is given the earth as domain for a time until Christ returns! I don’t recall reading anywhere in the Scriptures that Satan ever did anything good or true….it stands to reason that he would continue to throw us his lies while we remain in his ‘kingdom’.
We must continually bring everything back before Christ and His Word; the truths of all eternity lie there for all to see.

Thanks for posting this; it is really good!
What you were saying about our culture confusing us with the roles of men and women reminded me of Colossians 2:8 “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.”
Through this tradition (that a women is basically a glorified man) the world is cheating us. This is not God’s plan it’s definately something we need to look out for.

StoneRose, I know exactly what you are talking about. It took me 7 years to learn this! Wouldn’t it have been so sad and selfish for me to continue to be “in love” with the idea of being married, instead of “in love” with a person or Person? But isn’t He so faithful to promise to teach us out of that, and bring us out of it into a better understanding of His heart?
